Let us introduce ourselves...
We at Vromans nurseries are proud of our 26 years of experience cultivating conifers and shrubs. When we started our nursery in 1984, we couldn't expect that 25 years later we could serve you     with almost 60 hectares of young shrubs and conifers!

We can call ourselves specialists in young plants, because we cultivate in pots as well as outdoors. Surely you can find what you want in our assortment of over 100 sorts of ornamental shrubs and 40 sorts of conifers. Besides the Dutch market, we also serve foreign countries: we have our own sales organizations in England, Scandinavia, Germany and Austria.

'Well begun is half done'
This old saying is still true. At Vromans Kwekerijen BV in Biest-Houtakker (the Netherlands) we know that very well. As specialist in young plants, we owe it to our reputation to supply our customers with high quality, vigorous plants. Our product is one of the most important ingredients for a successful continued cultivation. We are very well aware of this.

Our products
Vromans Kwekerijen BV produces 1.2 million young plants in P9 and 2.5 million outdoors on a yearly basis. The assortment is broad. It may not go from A to Z, but it does go from Azalea to Viburnum.

Modernization
The greenhouse and company buildings were thoroughly modernized in 2002. In view of working conditions, investments were made in modern technologies. A special mobile lifting device, for example, hangs from the tubular rails in the greenhouse. This way, modern machines take over the heavy work from people. In view of the environment, ichneumon flies and other biological means are used to suppress diseases and pests. With us, healthy plants mean more than just vigorous, healthy plants. The product has been nursed in a surroundings that is healthy for people as well as for the environment. The Qualitree certificate confirms this method of production.

Clever nursery
Our nursery provides a broad assortment of vegetatively multiplied ornamental shrubs and conifers. In a carefully screened off part of the greenhouse the young sprigs receive the care they need. The climate computer controls the temperature, light intensity and atmospheric humidity every second. Based on this information, water is automatically sprayed over the plants, the screen is closed or another cultivational action is executed.

Flexible delivery
The progressive vision of Vromans Kwekerijen BV is aimed at serving customers to suit them. However, all customers are different and they have specific wishes and demands. For that reason, we consider flexibility of paramount importance. The motivated team of employees makes almost anything possible. Supplying many thousands of uniform high quality conifers is one of the possibilities. We are also able to compose and deliver a lot of several tens of shrubs and conifers in smaller numbers, without any problems. Some of the possibilities:

• Accurate and complete The customer is looking for a current supply of young plants. Vromans Kwekerijen BV delivers as much as possible from the own supply. If not everything is on hand, we will buy additional material from carefully selected nurseries.

• Adjusted and by appointment Beforehand, the customer decides which plants, of which desired quality and quantity are to be deliverd and when. Vromans Kwekerijen BV sees to it that the appointments are kept.

• Quantity and speed Thanks to a relatively large supply per sort, Vromans Kwekerijen BV can deliver large lots in a short time. The supplies of shrubs and conifers in P9 number, dependent on the sort, between 2,000 and 20,000. Conifers from outdoors are always instantly available up to several tens of thousands. Thanks to a capacity to pull up 120,000 conifers per day, a quick delivery is guaranteed!
